Hi everyone!!!!

Today I am going to talk about the website YOUTUBE.

I like a lot this website, because have a huge variety of videos, until have movies…is great because in the same page you can see musical videos, funny videos, tender videos, horror videos, trailers, teaser, game videos, movies, etc…etc…etc…… you can see a huge amount of videos that you want choose.

I think I visit all the time this page, I like the music videos (lately I like see music videos of Azealia Banks, Ellie Goulding, Mcklemore & Ryan Lewis and others) and see funny videos (Elvisa Yomastercard, funny cats videos or funny fall videos)…… I like see movie trailer. When I stay with my friends we like see funny videos and we laugh all the time.

When I see the videos, seldom have I commented, but sometimes I public the video in my page of Facebook and in there me or my friends comment.

The video that impact on me is an old video (2008) called “Obedece a la Morsa”. This video is a little gloomy and I remember the first time that I saw was the scary version and that kill me.

I like see the YouTube page of Elvisa Yomastercard, a Spanish guy who filming funny situations and he is dressed as a woman. He make useful and simple tutorials for all those details of life around us advice but in a funny version. I love his videos because make me laugh.

Food and eating habits.

Hi everyone!!!

Today I going to talk about food and eating habits.

I think the Chilean people don’t eating really well. The most of people prefer the fast food and don’t eating fruits and vegetables. That include me because, I eating fruits and vegetables but and like eating fast food to.

I don’t vegetarian, I eating the meat, I like eating salads, I love the rice, and I like the chips, the hot dogs, etc. I like the Chinese food, although isn’t the real food and I really like the Italian food. I don’t like a lot the soda, I prefer the water, but sometimes (when is a heat day) it’s very nice drink a glass of soda with ice.

Really I am eating all kind of foods, but I prefer the food making in home than the fast food. I love the Cazuela, the Pantrucas and the soups, and that kind of food is relatively health, but I hate the beans….. I don’t know why, but I don’t like a lot.

But I think my guilty placers are the chocolate and the cakes….. I like a lot the cakes, like the lemon pie, the chocolate cakes and that kind of food.

 When I was younger, always I worry about the food than I ate; I read the nutritional information on the foods, I probe a lot of diet, but that was tiring…..now I eating all kind of food, but not in excess. I think that is the “key”……eat a bit of everything, but in little portion.

 

How green are you?

Hi!!!

In this post I going to talk about be Green.

Well, I’m really not a lot of green. With my mom put the bottles in a plastic bottles container and the glass bottles and a container for glasses. We separate the cardboard or papers of the organic thing and that putting in the litter, but put all of thing together, I don’t not if that things separate before. I don’t like put the litter in the floor and that kind of things, but I think that isn’t being ecologic, just is help a little bit.

My brother is more ecologic than me, he like the trees, the plants and all the green thinks (I don’t say I don’t like the trees and the flower and that kind of things, just maybe I’m not worry a lot of that than my brother). Recently he makes compost and a “green book” with all the things he needs for the plants that we have in the house. He is worry about the water for the plants, about the light of the sun and all the time he thinking different and creative forms of helps all us plants.

All the time he is enthusiastic about Green-Peace and protect the pets and that kind of things, my mom and I just give the support he needs. He is the ecologic of the family.

Hi guys!!!!!

Today I talking about a great topic…….PEST

Well, when I was a little girl, I had a lot of pets: a dog, four birds, a rabbit, a chick, but I was a kid, for that I don’t take care of this. But now, I’m an adult and have conscience about take care the animal correctly.

In this moment, I have three cats more the five kitties of one of them. The cat’s names are Mina, Gaston and Gorda. Mina and Gaston are brothers, and Gorda called of this form because she has kitties recently. They live with my father, because my mother doesn’t like the animal.

I and my brother love the cats; he is crazy about that, talk about cats all days……. And is happy with own eight cats.

I don’t considerer an animal lover, but I have respect for the animal. When I was little, I didn’t have respect for them, I played with them and I was a little rude, but now I give them take care and love. I don’t like the use of animals for medical research, I think that is cruel and sad……and the same happen with the wild animal to captivity, something this animal arrived in the zoo because them are wounded or alone, in this case the zoo protect this animal and take care, but, for example, some circus use the animals and hurt them or use them unfairly. This abuse can’t happen; the wild animal can be free and live in his natural habitat.

Hi everyone!!!!!

Today I going to talk about an article relating to an exhibition called “Facing the Modern: The portrait in Vienna 1900”. This exhibition stays in the National Gallery (London) since October 9 until January 12.

This exhibition it’s about the portrait done for renowned artists like Anton Romako, Egon Schiele, Arnold Schonberg, Gustav Klimt, Broncia Koller, Isadore Kaufmann, Morizt Schroth, Oskar Kokoschka and Teresa Feodorowna Ries. All this paintings are rich in different formals aspects of paintings, like the different Brush-strokes, the perspective or the different colors used for the variety of artist presents in the exhibition. In the exhibition we can found to death mask, like the Death mask of Gustave Klimt, created for Moriz Schroth in 1918.

This striking exhibition showing the modern art portraits created in the 20 century for important artist of the period, but showing to the portrait of the city, of the society in this time, we can see daily scenes (like the paintings of Anton Romako) and other more confused and perturbed like the painting of Klimt or Schiele.

Japanese Animation!!!!!

 

Hi guys…..

Well, today I remember my child…….for that I talk about the Japanese animations when I saw when I was younger.

The anime are the cartoons made in Japan. There are a lot of anime shows, and a lot of genre like the Shonen (for boys), Shojo (fot girls), Seinen (for men), Josei (for women), and the themes like the comedy, romance, magical, sports, etc.

I remember when I was child saw a TV show called “El Club de los Tigritos” with my mom (she was pregnant of my brother)….. In this program showed a lot of Japanese animation like “Los Caballeros del Zodiaco”, “Digimos”, “Doraemon”, “Slam Dunk”, “Pokémon”, “Ranma ½”, “Hunter X Hunter”, “Detective Conan”, “Los Super Campeones”, and other…. I saw all this programs and other like “Dragon Ball”, “Escuela de detectives”, “Shinchan”, but one of my favourite was “Sailor Moon”.

Sailor Moon was created by Naoko Takeuchi en 1992. The story is about Serena, one day she found a cat called Luna, who said she was Sailor Moon, a moon warrior woes fate was fight against the evil. She doesn’t fight alone, ore magical girl’s helps in her adventures.

I like this anime because of the story and all about it; I think one of these girls….. Even once I was girl, I disguise as Sailor Moon.

I would like visit ........

Hi!!!!

In this post I write about a country I would like visit…..

Well, I don’t travel a lot, for that reason I would like to visit all the places in the world, but my dream is visit Europe. Personally I would like to visit all the continent, but if a choose a specific country, I think I would choose France.

France is a very beautiful place, with a lot of touristic places. The Eifel Tower is the most characteristics of that and I think is extraordinary. Another places I would like visit in France are The Louvre Museum, The Versailles Palace, The Notre-Damme Cathedral, The Arc of Triumph and others, and I would like to go to the International Film Festival of Cannes. I would like to visit all the places in the country, walking for the ancient street, going for a coffee in Paris and visit the little towns in the country, taste the typical gastronomy like the olive, the cheese, the oil olive, etc.  

I think France is a beautiful country  to live in; I never would be tired of visit all its places and I would like work in there, in any museum or art gallery…… I would love live in there.

JOBS !!!

Hi everyone!!!!!!

Well, this is a new semester and that’s mean new posts……..

The first post of this semester is about JOB. When a finish the university, I’m thinking of working in something related to my career. I like the conservation and the restoration of art, for that I’m considering working in a Museum or a Center specialized in this area.

For work in restoration and conservation you need have a lot of patience and skills with the hands, because you continuously work painting or fixing objects and need be very detailed. For that I think I good for this job because I have a lot of patience and my skills with the hands are very good, I’m good at painting and isn’t complicate fix the objects (like ceramics, textiles, paintings, etc.) . Also in the curse of restoration in the university, the teacher teaches us all the methods for do a good work.

I don’t know how difficult it finds this kind of job. I’d like to get a job in an institution like The National Center of Conservation and Restoration, but when I finish the career, I’m considering traveling first and maybe find a job abroad.

The last post........

Hi everyone!!!!

Well, today I write my last blog post, because this is my last English class. The finish of the semester is coming…..

In this post I am going to talk about my experience with the blogs I never have a blog before, but I like the experience to write about some things. I like write about topics and know who thinks my classmates about that.

I think is good writing post because is more easy practice and improve the English. The most of post I was written is about things who likes me and that it’s good. People of other country can see my post and read about them and me own classmates write their opinion about them think.

The advantages about blogging are the didactic possibility to practice and improve the English. That is good because is easier do oration and speak. The disadvantages of this is sometimes is not to easy found the appropriate words to use in the post, or put in order your ideas for express that after.

My suggestions are maybe give more time to write the post, or give more different topics.

Well, I hope my last post like you….maybe I write more post in the future, but I don’t know that…… We never know.

My favourite subject

Hi everyone!!!!!

Today I am going to talk about my favourite subject….. Well, these terms are a little bit crazy, but, still that, my favourite subject is restoration. The teacher’s name is Johanna Theile; she is a recognized restorer of art.

In class I see the way to restore different kind of material, like ceramic, porcelain, textile and paintings (in the other term we learn to restore paper, wood, glass, metal and other material) and the way to keep the object safe. When the object is in good condition, is most better restoring, but when the object isn’t in good condition, the most better is preserve, because the object can damage much more.

The class is didactic; we restore ceramic, textile and painting yet. The teacher gives the information of the way you can restore or keep the object and a historical review, like the history of the restoration, or the preventive conservation.

I like too much this subject because it’s funny and didactic. I like work with the object and fix them or know the form I can preserve.

A Darwinian Theory of Beauty?

Well….. The video ¨A Darwinian Theory of Beauty? ¨ by Denis Duton is so interesting and funny. In the video, Duton talk about the concept of “beauty”, the experience that produced the concept and some   definitions of “Beauty”. Darwin says that beauty “It´s in the eye of the beholder”. I think the same of Darwin, sometimes when we see something beauty, we experiments certain emotions produced for the beauty of the object. But sometimes, the beauty is culturally conditioned. For example, the Padaung women, use brass coils that are placed around the neck .This is for hers a beauty symbol, but maybe for the rest of women, it’s a little shocking.

Duton also talk about the experience of beauty has relation with a natural selection and the sexual selection. The prehistorically men evolved for adapted, that is the natural selection, adapted for survive. The sexual selection has a relation with reproduction,but there are factors that favor this action, like the Padaung woman with the coils in the neck.

In the career who I study the topic “Beauty” has too much importance. In my particular opinion, the beauty has a relation with the emotions who produced by the object (art, music, places, etc).  The concept of “Beauty” is very broad, and the meaning depends on the own people.

ART!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!!!!! 

Today I am going to write about one of my favorite artists……in this case a painter. His name is François Gérard, was a neoclassical French painter in the XIX century. He was one of the most important disciples of David.

Born on May 4, 1779 in Rome (Italy) and died on January 11, 1837 in Paris (France) . He painted important people like Napoleon Bonaparte, the empress Josephine and others. Gérard was the favourite pupil of Jacques-Louis David, who competed for be the best portrait painter. Besides, he was painting mythological and historical pictures. His paintings are Neoclassical, but he used more delicate tonality.

The painting that I more like is Cupid and Psyche (1798). Is oil on canvas and stay in the Louvre. The history of this picture is about the young Psique, who be surprised for the first kiss of Cupid, or the love, which is invisible for her. This history of love is an old myth but also is an allegory; Psique is the personification of the human soul (sometimes is blind to love).

I think this picture in particular is beautiful. The expression of Psique, if she was lost, but always beautiful and Cupid, who touch her like she was broken. I love the colors, and the form who the artist painted the figures (and the dress of Psique).

Well, today I am going to write about the Memes....... I like that because they make me laugh a lot.

The Meme (or  Internet phenomenon) is the graphical representation of some situation.A meme can be  ideas, concepts, situations, expressions, videos or  funny images, that are manipulated for its diffusion . They are generated on the web or any type of virtual enviroment and are distributed to the  network via forums, imageboards, websites and any other massive diffuser.

The diffusion of the Meme depends on the reaction of the audience. The meme is called benign virus, because  it may come to be seen by a lot of people across the world in a short time, that is the important for a easy diffusion.

The creation of the meme is varied. They are created for accident or across  web pages (http://memegenerator.net/)

The most used memes are with cartoons. Also know as Rage Comics,  is characterized by a drawing comic style, usually in black and white, which expresses an emotion easily appreciated.The popularity of comics Rage has been attributed to their use as vehicles for humorizar experiences. Blog correction

(It’s ) it's hard for me choose one like my favorite movie, because exist so many good films exist!

But if I have to talk about one, this will be "The triplettes of belleville", this is a French animation movie, written and directed by Sylvain Chomet on 2003.
The film tells the story of a young cyclist and his grandmother, how this boy is kidnapped by American gangsters and the adventures that his grandmother has to go through to rescue him.

There are almost no dialogues in the film, everything is explained through music and pantomime. Also, there is a strong critical sense of humor regarding United States, something characteristic of French wit.

Was nominated for many awards, including the Oscar (Best Animated Film and Best Original Song), for its excellent animation, direction and script, but what It was left with all the looks and ears was its wonderful soundtrack. Composed and written especially for the occasion.

I like a lot, because it is full of little details, in the city, the characters, (the scenes with dogs are fantastic! dog scenes are fantastic!), music. All forms an atmosphere. And I also love the bikes!

Of this author, I also like his other films like "The Illusionist", or  "the lady and the pigeons". He also has a short in the movie "Paris, j 'taime".

My favourite Movie !!!!

Hi everyone.... Well I love see movies.

I have too much favorites movies, but today I going to talk about the movie Inception.

This movie is a science fiction thriller film written, co-produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan on 2010. The film starred Leonardo DiCaprio,  Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger y Michael Caine.

The film has won a lot awards, including Best Photography, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects.

The plot of this movie is about Don Cobb (DiCaprio) is an expert in the art of appropriate the secrets of the subconscious of others during sleep . The strange ability of Cobb has made a very  appreciate in the world of espionage, but it has also condemned to be a fugitive and he can't lead a normal life. The only opportunity to change his life is will do exactly the opposite of  what always done, the Inception, implanting an idea into the subconscious instead of subtract. The procedure for doing the inception is through a portable equipment that operates as an intravenous injection to the person to be filtered. Cobb not working alone, his team are Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) Cobb's partner, Eames (Tom Hardy) the forger and Ariadne (Ellen Page) a young student who is the architect of the operation. However, the plan is complicated for the intervention of someone who seems to predict their every movement, someone will discover only  Don Cobb.

I really love this movie, I like the plot, the visual effects and Joseph Gordon-Levitt…… I hope you like the movie too….kisses :)

My favourite Band :)

Hi everyone !!!!! Today I talk about one of my favorite bands.

The name of this band is 30 second to mars .Is an alternative rock band from USA. The vocalist is Jared Leto (American actor and musician), with his brother Shannon Leto in the drums and Tomo Milicevic in the guitar.

This band was formed in 1998, in California; the album debut was 30 second to mars. The second album was A Beautiful Lie, this album has four singles: Attack, The Kill, From Yesterday and A Beautiful Lie.

The first song that I listening from this band was Attack. I saw the video and I love it <3. 

I like to other videos as The Kill, A Beautiful Lie, Closer to the Edge,  Kings and Queens, Hurricane, This Is War and the last video, Up In The Air.

A little autobiography.

Hi !!!  well, today I going to talk a little bit of my autobiography :

My name is Camila  Lineros Correa. I was born on November 26, in 1992. I am 20 years old. I have just a younger brother, his name is Sebastián and he study in the school . My mother's name is María Alicia Correa and my father's name is Guido Lineros.

I study Theory and History of Art at Universidad de Chile, I like more the History than the Theory. I like watching movies (any tips) and reading and surf in internet, I like playing in the Wii with my brother ,we love the Just Dance game.
